Our Mission
The mission of NTCC is connecting people to God through His Presence, His Power and His Promises.
His Presence: The tangible awareness that He is with us. His Power: To do the miraculous and the impossible; to change any situation. His Promises: To make us whole; to walk in the fullness of the blessings provided through Jesus Christ.
Our Beliefs
We believe the Bible to be the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God. We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal future return to this earth in the Rapture of the Church at Christ’s coming. We believe that the only means of being cleansed from sin is through repentance and faith in the precious blood of Christ. We believe that regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential for personal salvation. We believe that the redemptive work of Christ on the cross provides healing of the human body in answer to believing prayer. We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit, according to Acts 2:4, is given to believers who ask for it. We believe in the sanctifying power of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling that the Christian is enabled to live a holy life. We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost, the one to everlasting life and the other to everlasting damnation.
THE BIBLE
We believe the Holy Bible to be the fully inspired Word of God. It is wholly true, accurate and relevant in our lives. (2 Timothy 3:16; Hebrews 4:12; 1 Peter 1:23-25; 2 Peter 1:19-21)

THE TRINITY
We believe in one God revealed in 3 persons - God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. (John 10:30; John 14:9-11; 1 Corinthians 12:4-6; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Ephesians 4:4-6; 1 Peter 1:2; 1 John 5:6-8)
God the Father is Creator, eternal Ruler and Sustainer of all things. (Genesis 1:1; Isaiah 44:6; Matthew 3:16-17; Luke 11:13; Romans 8:32; 2 Corinthians 1:21-22; 1 Timothy 2:5)
Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man. He was together with the Father and the Holy Spirit before all things. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary and lived a sinless life. Jesus is the Redeemer of mankind. He was crucified for our sins, died a physical death, was buried and physically rose again on the third day. He is seated at the right hand of the Father, holds power over sin and death and is coming again. (Isaiah 7:14; Isaiah 9:6-7; Luke 2:11; John 1:1-5; John 6:35-40; John 14:1-6; Acts 2:36; Acts 3:13-16; Philippians 2:5-11; Colossians 1:15-17; Colossians 2:9; Hebrews 2:9-18)
The Holy Spirit is God, the Helper, Who was active in the Old Testament and given to the Church in fullness at Pentecost. He empowers believers for service and witness, conforming us to the image of Christ. After salvation, the baptism in the Holy Spirit releases the fullness of the Spirit and is evidenced by the fruits and gifts of the Holy Spirit. (John 14:16-17; John 16:7-14; Acts 1:4-8; Acts 2:4; Acts 2:38-39; Acts 19:1-6; 1 Corinthians 12:8-11)

SALVATION
We believe salvation is a free gift from God, made possible because of the death of His Son, Jesus. We believe salvation is received by faith. Jesus Christ is our righteousness and believers are fully righteous in the sight of God having confessed and believed the finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross. (Acts 3:19-21; Acts 20:21; Romans 4:1-5; Romans 5:1; Ephesians 2:8-10; 1 Peter 3:18; 1 John 4:17)

ETERNITY
We believe that heaven and hell are real places of eternal existence. We believe one’s eternal destination of either Heaven or hell is determined by their response to the Lord Jesus Christ. Eternal life is to be eternally in union with God. It is God’s desire that all individuals come to believe on the saving grace of Jesus Christ and spend eternity with Him. (Matthew 25:34, 41, 46; Luke 16:19-31; John 14:1-3; Revelation 20:11-15)

MARRIAGE
We believe the Bible defines marriage between a man and woman. It is a covenant relationship established by God for life. (Genesis 1:27-28; Genesis 2:18-24; Matthew 19:3-9; Mark 10:6-9; 1 Corinthians 7:2; Hebrews 13:4)

HEALING
We believe God is both able and willing to heal. God’s desire is for mankind to enjoy the health, healing and wholeness that He purchased for us at Calvary. Jesus went to the scourging post and then the cross to pay the full price for our health and wholeness. The same Jesus who healed all who came to Him for healing when He was on earth is the same Jesus who wants to heal anyone today who is sick in any way. We believe God uses both natural and supernatural means to bring healing. (Exodus 15:26; Psalm 91; Psalm 103:2-3; Proverbs 4:20-22; Isaiah 53:4-5; Jeremiah 30:17; Mark 16:17-18; Romans 8:11; James 5:14-16; 1 Peter 2:24)

MANKIND
We believe mankind was created by God, in the image of God. Mankind was created to have relationship with God and was given dominion over, and rule of the earth. Mankind sinned against God which caused the need for redemption. (Genesis 1:27; Romans 3:19-23; Galatians 3:22; Ephesians 2:1-2; Ephesians 2:12-13)

BAPTISM
We believe that baptism is the public expression of the believer’s faith in Christ. It is a representation of one’s death, burial and resurrection with Christ. The believer is baptized into the Lord Jesus Christ. (Matthew 3:15-16; Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 8:36-38; Acts 10:47-48; Romans 6:1-4)

COMMUNION
We believe communion is a commemoration of the death of Jesus Christ and is taken in remembrance of what He did. It is symbolic of the body and blood of Jesus. Communion is taken to reflect on what Jesus did for us. (Matthew 26:26-29; Luke 22:13-20; John 6:43-58; 1 Corinthians 11:17-34)

THE CHURCH
We believe that the church is the Body of Christ, made up of those who believe in Him and what He accomplished on the cross and have chosen to follow Him with their life. We believe God uses the local church to extend and establish His Kingdom on earth. Within the church, it is not necessary that all have the same doctrine other than believing in Jesus and the One Who sent Him. (Matthew 16:18; Matthew 28:19-20; Acts 2:41-47; Acts 20:28; 1 Corinthians 14:26; Ephesians 5:27-32; 1 Timothy 3:15)

Our Values
  • Welcome Home
You fit. There is a place for you in the family. You will never have to go it alone.
  • Identity Found
When God sees you, He sees His Son. As Jesus is so are you in this world. That is who you are; that is your true identity.
  • Believers, not Doubters
We take God at His Word. We walk by faith, trusting in the finished work of Christ.
  • Fingerprints & Snowflakes
God sees each individual as His most valuable masterpiece, complete with unique gifts, talents and abilities.
  • Embrace the Pause
We cherish worship and the presence of God, yielding to the supernatural, miracle working power of the Holy Spirit.
  • It’s Not as Simple as the Butterfly
We are all in the continual process of being transformed. Lasting change is not a matter of what we do, rather what God does, renewing us from the inside out.
  • Big @ Heart
God is the ultimate giver; we are never more like Him than when we share what we have with others.
  • Circles, Not Rows
There’s so much more than the Sunday service. Authentic, healthy relationships are fostered in small groups, as we spend time together.
  • The Extra Mile
Serving is not seasonal, occasional, nor does it ever grow old. It is a lifestyle. Personal greatness is achieved as we serve and meet the needs of others.
  • No Strings Attached
Grace is God’s unearned favor. We are not blessed because we are good but because God is good! There are absolutely no conditions to receiving God’s best at all times.
  • It’s a Small World After All
We love our neighbour, even if they live on the other side of the globe.
  • Put Your Feet Up
Your past doesn’t determine your future, nor does your performance determine your acceptance. God doesn’t judge you based on your behaviors; neither do we.
